Where Knowledge Grows

Installation of New Garden Beds - Saturday, February 11, 2012

A big thank you to all who participated with the garden installation on
Saturday, February 11th!  We had teachers, parents and children working hard to create to new raised beds as well as a butterfly/hummingbird garden. Our partners, Native Nurseries, Tallahassee Nurseries and Home Depot contributed lumber and plants. So far we have reached 75% of our goal for installation on our Community School Garden. Despite the cold temps lately, the new butterfly/hummingbird garden is growing roots. A blue bird has been spotted as well as a few determined butterflies. To see the new beds, visit our photo page.
